Acceptance of Terms

SA.Doctor (the “Platform”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a bilingual doctors directory for Saudi Arabia, owned and operated by Algorithma AI Company, a Saudi technology company based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and by the applicable laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Platform.

Acceptance and Records

These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, form a binding electronic agreement under the Electronic Transactions Law of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Where we ask you to confirm your acceptance — for example when signing in to an account, submitting an application to be listed, or reviewing and approving your profile — we record the version of the terms accepted, the date and time of acceptance, and technical metadata such as your IP address and browser identifier. These records are kept as evidence of your acceptance and of the consents you have given.

Each version of these terms is identified by its effective date. We will ask you to confirm your acceptance again when the terms are updated materially; continuing to use the Platform after an updated version is posted also amounts to acceptance of the revised terms.

Ownership of Content and Data

The content made available through the Platform — including doctor and facility profiles, names, descriptions, qualifications, specialties, ratings, reviews, photographs, images, logos, text, graphics, page layouts, the underlying database together with its structure, selection and arrangement, and all software — is owned by Algorithma AI Company, by our licensors, or by the individuals and entities who have authorized us to publish it, and is protected by Saudi and international copyright, database, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

We compile, verify, structure, and present this information at significant cost and effort. The compilation, and the database as a whole, are our protected property regardless of whether any individual item of information is available elsewhere.

Content is not placed in the public domain by being displayed on the Platform.

Limited Use Licence

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and view the Platform for your own personal, non-commercial use, for the purpose of finding healthcare providers. This is a licence to use, not a transfer of ownership. Under this licence you may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, display, or create derivative works from any content, data, or media
  • Use any content, data, or media for a commercial purpose or for public display
  • Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, watermark, or ownership notice
  • Transfer, sell, sublicense, or mirror any content or data on another server, application, or service

This licence ends automatically if you do not comply with these terms.

Automated Access and Data Extraction

To protect the Platform, the people listed on it, and our investment in the database, the following are not permitted without our prior written authorization and a written agreement with us:

  • Scraping, crawling, spidering, or harvesting the Platform, or using automated means (bots, scripts, headless browsers, crawlers, or similar) to access, copy, or extract content, data, or media
  • Bulk or systematic extraction or downloading of any part of the database, of doctor or facility records, of contact details, or of photographs and other media
  • Text and data mining, and the use of any Platform content, data, or media to train, fine-tune, develop, validate, or benchmark an artificial intelligence or machine-learning model, dataset, large language model, or similar system
  • Caching, storing, aggregating, indexing, reselling, or redistributing our data or media, or incorporating it into another directory, product, dataset, or service
  • Circumventing, disabling, or interfering with rate limiting, access controls, robots directives, or other technical protection measures
  • Accessing the Platform through an interface other than the one we provide, or sending a volume of requests that places an unreasonable load on our infrastructure

General-purpose search engines that follow the directives in our robots.txt may index the Platform for the purpose of linking visitors back to it.

We reserve all rights, including rights relating to text and data mining. Our robots.txt file and any machine-readable usage signals form part of these terms. The fact that a page or media file can technically be reached does not amount to consent to copy, extract, or reuse it.

Any other use of our data or media — including for commercial directories, research, analytics, marketing, or AI and machine-learning purposes — requires our prior written consent and a licence agreement with Algorithma AI Company. To request a licence, write to info@sa.doctor.

Doctor and Facility Information

We work to keep the directory accurate, but we do not warrant that profiles, qualifications, specialties, fees, locations, or other information are complete, current, or free of error. Responsibility for the accuracy of listed information rests with the doctor, facility, or authorized representative who provided it, and information should be confirmed directly with them.

The Platform is an information directory. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for consulting a qualified healthcare professional. In a medical emergency, call 997 or go to the nearest emergency department.

Content You Submit

If you submit a profile, an application, a review, a photograph, or other content or data, you confirm that:

  • You are the person concerned, or you are duly authorized to act on their behalf
  • You own the content, or you hold all rights, permissions, and consents needed to submit it and to grant the licence below — including rights to any photographs or other media, and the consent of every identifiable person appearing in them
  • The information is true, accurate, current, and not misleading, and you will keep it up to date and correct it promptly when it changes
  • Any professional credentials, qualifications, and licences you provide are genuine and in force
  • The content is lawful and does not infringe the intellectual property, privacy, image, or other rights of any third party

By submitting content, you grant Algorithma AI Company a worldwide, non-exclusive licence, free of any fee, to host, store, reproduce, adapt, translate, format, publish, display, and distribute that content in order to operate the Platform and to promote and market the Platform and its services, in any medium. This licence may be extended to the service providers who help us operate the Platform, and to the channels through which the Platform is promoted, for those purposes only. It does not permit any unrelated third party to copy or reuse your content, which remains protected as set out above.

The licence lasts for as long as your content is published on the Platform. If your profile or content is removed, we will stop publishing and using it, except that we may retain archival copies for legal, evidentiary, or accounting purposes, and we are not required to recall material that was already lawfully published or distributed before removal. Aggregated and anonymized data that no longer identifies you remains ours.

Nothing in this section limits your rights under the Personal Data Protection Law, including the right to withdraw consent and to request correction or deletion of your personal data. Those requests are handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

Reviews

Reviews must describe your own genuine, first-hand experience. Do not submit reviews that are false or misleading, that are written in exchange for payment, that contain personal or health information about another person, or that are offensive or defamatory. We may decline to publish, edit for clarity, or remove any review, and we do not endorse the opinions expressed in reviews published by others.

Aggregated and Anonymized Data

We may compile, structure, verify, analyze, and aggregate the information available through the Platform in order to produce statistics, insights, and reports about the healthcare sector. This aggregated and anonymized output, which does not identify any individual, together with the database as a whole, is the property of Algorithma AI Company and may be published or used commercially.

Personal data is handled only as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell personal data, and we do not make it available to third parties for their own commercial purposes.

Photographs and Media

Photographs, logos, and other media shown on the Platform are published with the permission of the relevant rights holders and are used in accordance with the licence set out in these terms, including display on the Platform and the promotion and marketing of the Platform and its services. Third parties may not download, copy, reuse, or redistribute any media without our prior written consent and a licence agreement. If you are a doctor or facility and would like your photograph or media added, updated, or removed, write to info@sa.doctor.

Operating the Platform

We operate the Platform at our discretion. Without limiting any other right, we may at any time:

  • Review, verify, edit, reformat, translate, or annotate any listing or submitted content
  • Accept or decline any submission or application, in whole or in part
  • Suspend, unpublish, archive, or remove any listing, profile, or content
  • Suspend or close any account, or restrict access to the Platform
  • Change, suspend, or discontinue any feature or part of the Platform

Where we suspend or remove a listing or an account other than for an urgent security or legal reason, we will give the account holder notice and, where appropriate, an opportunity to put the matter right. We are not obliged to publish, maintain, or restore any listing or content.

Authorized members of our support team may access a doctor or facility account in order to provide technical assistance, verify a reported issue, or carry out a change requested by the account holder. Every such access is logged, including the staff member responsible, the account accessed, and the date and time.

Fees, Payment and Refunds

Listing a doctor on the Platform is subject to a one-time registration fee of SAR 500 per profile. This fee is currently waived — we are not charging it, and we do not collect payment details in order to list you. We may end the waiver at any time; if we do, we will announce it before it takes effect, it will not apply to any profile already listed at that time, and it will not apply to any account on a paid plan.

Where you subscribe to a paid plan or a paid feature, the price is the one shown to you at the time you subscribe. Paid plans are sold on a monthly or yearly term and are payable in full in advance. A plan is activated only after payment has been received in full, and it runs for the period paid for. Plans renew automatically at the end of each term until you cancel. Your card is stored securely by our payment provider, not by us. You can cancel at any time from your account, and your plan then runs to the end of the period you have already paid for. Where a discounted price applies for a stated period, the standard price resumes afterwards and we will tell you before it does. We may change our fees at any time; a change takes effect for periods beginning after it is announced and does not alter the price of a period you have already paid for.

Where a plan includes a monthly allowance — for example a number of patient bookings — use beyond that allowance is not covered by the amount paid in advance. We may invoice it separately, as incurred, at the rate published on our pricing page at the time.

All payments are final and non-refundable. Once a payment has been made we do not refund it, in whole or in part — including where you stop using the Platform before the end of a paid period, where you ask us to unpublish or remove your listing, where your account is suspended or closed because these terms were not complied with, or where you change your mind. Unused time and unused features carry no cash value and are not exchangeable or transferable.

If a payment is taken in error — a duplicate charge, or a charge for a service that was never made available to you — write to info@sa.doctor and we will investigate and put it right. Nothing in this section affects any right of yours that cannot be waived under the applicable laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Algorithma AI Company and its officers, employees, and agents against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and reasonable costs (including reasonable legal fees) that arise from: (a) content, data, or media you submit; (b) any inaccuracy in, or failure to update, the information you provide; (c) your breach of these terms or of any confirmation you have given in them; or (d) any claim that media you provided, or its use under the licence you granted, infringes the rights of another person, including image, privacy, or intellectual property rights.

This indemnity does not extend to any loss caused by our own act or omission.

Prohibited Activities

You may not use the Platform to:

  • Breach any law of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or any other applicable law
  • Infringe intellectual property, database, or privacy rights
  • Collect any person’s information without their consent
  • Publish another person’s personal or health information without their consent
  • Transmit malicious code, or interfere with or disrupt the operation or security of the Platform
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or publish false, misleading, or fraudulent content

Enforcement

We may monitor use of the Platform, apply rate limits, restrict or block access, and suspend or close accounts where these terms are not complied with. Where content or data is extracted or used without authorization, we may take the steps available to us under the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including requesting that the activity stop and seeking compensation for any resulting loss.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The Platform and its materials are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including as to fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither Algorithma AI Company nor its suppliers is liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data or profit, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Platform.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their privacy practices, or the conduct of their operators.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms of Service. Each version is identified by its effective date. An updated version takes effect when it is posted, and your continued use of the Platform — or your recorded acceptance where we ask for it — amounts to acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Platform or these terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Kingdom.

Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please read it to understand how we handle personal data.
