Dr. Yara S. Alghamdi

Dr. Yara Al-Ghamdi is a resident physician in the Department of Dermatology at Princess Norah Oncology Center, King Abdulaziz Medical City (KAMC), Jeddah. She previously trained as a resident physician in the Department of Dermatology at King Abdullah Medical Complex in Jeddah, and completed dermatology rotations at King Abdulaziz Medical City and King Fahad Armed Forces Hospital. She graduated from King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (KSAU-HS), Jeddah. Dr. Al-Ghamdi is an active researcher with numerous peer-reviewed studies, scientific publications, and clinical reports in dermatology, covering generalized pustular psoriasis, congenital ichthyosis, epidermolysis bullosa, and cutaneous reactions associated with COVID-19 vaccines, in addition to her participation in other dermatology research projects. She has presented research and academic work at numerous local and international conferences, most notably the Annual Meeting of the British Association of Dermatologists (BAD), the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV), and the MEIDAM conference in Dubai. She has also participated as a speaker in various scientific seminars, conferences, and workshops, and is committed to taking part in awareness campaigns and educational programs related to skin diseases and promoting skin health within the community. Her areas of interest include general dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, hair and nail disorders, dermatopathology, and dermatologic procedures. She is fluent in both Arabic and English.
