Specialist Jomana Suliman Almahmood

Jomana Almahmood is a Physical Therapist based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. She has completed clinical internship placements at King Abdullah Medical City (KAMC), Makkah, and the Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs (MNGHA), Jeddah, as well as a summer trainee placement at Al-Qassim National Hospital. She completed her Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy at Umm Al-Qura University (2021–2026), graduating with First Class Honors. Her clinical training covers orthopedic, neurological, medical and surgical, intensive care unit (ICU), cardiopulmonary, and lymphedema rehabilitation, as well as pediatric and outpatient sports-related injury care. She has experience with post-operative rehabilitation and progressive ambulation training (from wheelchair use to independent walking), pain management techniques, manual therapy for joint range of motion, gait training, and early mobilization of critically ill ICU patients. She has also supported patients with neurological disease in improving gait mechanics, balance and activities of daily living. She conducted a cross-sectional research project on the prevalence of overweight and its influence on balance and quality of life among female university students at Umm Al-Qura University (2024–2025), contributing to data collection, analysis and scientific reporting.
