Dr. Ghyda’a Ghulam

Dr. Ghyda'a M. Ghulam is a German board-certified Consultant Dermatologist and Venereologist practicing at Reviva Clinics in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. She earned her MBBS from King Abdulaziz University and completed her medical residency training in Jeddah before moving to Germany, where she completed the full dermatology and venereology specialty programme at the Klinikum der Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main under Prof. Dr. med. R. Kaufmann. She was awarded the German Board of Dermatology and Venereology (Fachärztin für Haut- und Geschlechtskrankheiten). She previously practised at King Abdulaziz Hospital in Jeddah, joining as a dermatology specialist, being appointed consultant, and going on to head its Dermatology Department. Her clinical practice spans general medical dermatology and venereology, dermoscopy and the early detection of skin cancer, and aesthetic dermatology. She founded a skin cancer screening clinic for high-risk patients, and holds a Certificate and a Diploma in Advanced Aesthetic Medicine together with a Fellowship in Non-Surgical Aesthetic Gynecology from the American Board of Aesthetic Medicine. Alongside her clinical work, Dr. Ghulam has contributed to quality and service development in dermatology, having authored departmental policies, procedures, scope of service and operational plans, and taken part in an electronic COVID-19 statistics dashboard project. She has published in the German dermatology journal Aktuelle Dermatologie on Morbus Morbihan and on therapy-resistant discoid lupus erythematosus, and previously served as Associate Editor of the JMDC newsletter and a member of the organising committee of the Jeddah MOH Derma Club. She sees patients in Arabic, English and German.
