Dr. Ashraf Aljahdali

Dr. Ashraf Naji Aljahdali is a Consultant Ophthalmologist at Jeddah Eye Hospital, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, since August 2025, with many years of experience in ophthalmology providing outstanding patient care in accurate, timely assessment, diagnosis, and procedural treatment. He previously served as Senior Registrar at Jeddah Eye Hospital (2021–2025), working across the general and retina departments covering clinics and emergencies, and performing procedures including ruptured globe primary repair, phacoemulsification cataract surgery, intravitreal anti-VEGF and antibiotic injections, and Argon/YAG laser treatments. Dr. Aljahdali completed his ophthalmology residency training in Germany under the German Board of Ophthalmology program, first at Hamburg University (UKE) Ophthalmology Department (2015–2016), then at Dr. med. Sleiman Eye Clinic and Friedrich-Ebert-Hospital, Neumünster (2016–2019), earning his German Board of Ophthalmology certification in 2020 through the Medical Association of Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. He also completed ophthalmology residency training at King Abdulaziz Hospital, Jeddah (2009–2013) and ER residency at King Abdulaziz Hospital (2007–2009). He holds an M.B.B.S. from Dow Medical College, Karachi (2005) and a Diploma in Medical Technology from King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah (2000). He is fluent in Arabic and speaks English, German, and Urdu.
