Dr. Adel Alsenaid

Dr. Adel Alsenaid is a consultant and assistant professor of Dermatology based in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, with more than twelve years of experience in medical, immunological, and aesthetic dermatology. He specializes in immunodermatology, with a particular focus on inflammatory skin diseases such as psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, and hidradenitis suppurativa, and has extensive expertise in advanced systemic therapies including biologics and JAK inhibitors. He is the founding lead of the cosmetic services at Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH). After earning his MBBS from Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University in Dammam, Dr. Alsenaid completed his dermatology residency at Ludwig-Maximilian-University in Munich, Germany, and obtained German Board Certification in Dermatology. He went on to earn a Master of Science in Clinical Research from Dresden International University and completed a fellowship in inflammatory skin diseases at the University of Toronto, along with Canadian Board Certification in Aesthetic Medicine. He is a Fellow of the European Board of Dermatology-Venereology and an active member of several international professional societies. In addition to his clinical work in the treatment of skin, hair, and nail diseases, dermatologic surgery, botulinum toxin and filler therapy, and laser dermatology, he has published research in international journals on topics including alopecia areata, vitamin D and acne, and biologic therapy in psoriasis.
